Did you have to wire in a resistor on these? I have the LED tails.
I got my LED reverse bulbs in the mail over the weekend... put them both in and only the driver's side lit up. Thought maybe I got a bad bulb so I switched their places and still only the driver's side lit up. Leaving the LED in the driver's side, I put the incandescent bulb in the passenger side and it lit up. So the passenger side isn't liking the LED reverse bulb, and I put the incandescent back for the time being.
I did however get the license plate LED's installed and they work fine.

Any update on how well these perform? How well is the area behind them lighted? Usually LEDs dont project as far as reg lights.
I found a set of H3/H4 style reverse bulbs at auto zone for $15. I bought them and wow they are bright. But i have never been able to find them again.

Hmmm... I am going to throw my stock tail lights in today and see if the LED reverse lights work that way. Maybe I'll need a resistor if I'm trying to run the LED tail lights (the ebay ones) plus LED reverse lights.

You should only need resistors if its a flashing bulb right? Because they draw less. I think thats why he did not need resistors for these.

So I put my stockers back on tonight since I'm sending off my LED tails to get tinted, and the LED reverse lights work on both side with the stock lights - so it seems that something is getting weird when trying to run the LED reverse lights with the LED tails.

I'm also interested in LED reverse lights. I just want something brighter than stock bulbs, is a simple swap to LED seems the way to go?
