Cyclo - A great company to deal with.

I rarely do this but once I come across a great company with a great customer support I like to give good rep. to it for the way they take care of me and other customers.
The company I’m talking about is Cyclo, the makers of the famous dual head, dual action orbital polisher.
My Cyclo polisher stopped working do to the carbon brushes been worn out and I quickly called them to order them and the customer rep gave me a little tip on how to get my Cyclo working in the mean time until my replacement parts come in. The customer rep (Erik) ask for my email and he sent me few links, from the replacements parts to some interesting videos regarding their products, definitely a great guy to talk to about detailing. I also sent him a link back with a video of a car I did using the Cyclo, he recognized my Jeep SRT8 in the video and reply back that he knows a guy named Harrison from Florida with a black one. Harrison you are famous bro LOL! But it was no surprise to hear that since Harrison is always talking wonders of the Cyclo.
So if any of you guys ever get a Cyclo for a polisher be worry free in case you ever need to call them for customer support or anything, because either Erik or anyone there I’m sure will take care of you.
And yes Cyclo is my preferred and best polisher on my arsenal for paint correction jobs; I also have a PC 7424xp and a rotary Makita. They all have their place depending on the job and they are all great machines as well.

well I am in the process of getting a polisher/buffer...I was going to get the PC, but now you have me intrigued. I will only be using it 4-6 times a year (once or twice on my Jeep, and a couple buddies rides)...so which one would you recommend for me Mario?

And thanks for taking the time to write this upBrad, both machines are good I just feel more comfortable using the Cyclo but the PC is great as well. The big difference between the two other than one having and extra head is that the Cyclo is only one speed when the PC has variable speeds and that is a plus if you don't have other polisher for heavy compounding, the PC fills in that gap for you if you want a do all and safe type of machine.
For heavy compounding I personally like the rotary. For polishing jobs like paint correction the cyclo is my favorite as you know and since I have the PC I use it s well for waxing and finishing touches. But if you get the PC you won't regret it. If you end up getting the Cyclo you can still do the same and won't regret it, the only thing is that you are limited to one speed and sometimes that's a good thing if you don't know what speed to run with what pad and what product.

I'm going to look into Cyclo...Yes of course, some people actually prefer it better than the Cyclo, I'm just stating my personal experience.
The reason I prefer the Cyclo for polishing over the PC is that I had found myself getting the work done faster with the Cyclo and my guess is that since it has dual heads you'll see faster results. Others might not see it that way and that's fine like I said it's whatever you'll find yourself working more comfortable with.

Both machines has it's advantages...
I also forgot to also mention, with the PC you can use different size pads. The Cyclo you can also do interiors since you can get brushes for it to do carpets.
And there's plenty of adapters for both machines.

My intent with this thread was to let everyone know what a great company to deal with Cyclo is.
I didn't want it to be a comparison between polishing machines, but that's ok, I speak the truth. Also I haven't dealt with the Porter Cable company but they could be as great, who knows. I'm just stating my experience with the Cyclo company and the way I use my polishers.

I know it's not easy to pick one of them, but hey even Flex has some nice dual action and rotary polishers you should look at as well.
