while its a NA record lets be clear that he is running a 440 Arrington. and has also completely removed the transfer case, front diff, driveshaft, and last time I saw him post times, almost the complete interior removed. he has a BB 8.8 rear and BB trans. not much STOCK left except for the chassis.

IMO, once the 6.1 barrier is gone, or the stock block, its a 'race car' and should only be compared to other race cars. not every other NA SRT8 jeep. again, IMO. same goes for any 426 NA TT NOS whatever. again this is my opinion.

yesterday we saw a BONE STOCK with Vortech the only mod run a 11.72. Uncorrected. For way less then 50% of what chris spent on mods and you can even get your warrantee for 3/36. Vortech cost 7K installed tuned ready to go. full interior. full SRT8 factory driveline.

chris spent well over 10K just for the motor.

A bit more. Heads, cam, headers, exhaust, ported intake mani, 90mm TB, 55# injectors, and actually no CMR tune. It was on a base toon from Johan. I ran it before I went to see AJ. And before all the knock issues started. I bet she'd have a hard time breaking into the 12's right now. :(

Here is the timeslip. It is still the fastest NA Srt8 Jeep regardless of cubes. I still have transfer case and driveshaft. And still my Daily driver. I have 86k sinse sept 07.

stock catback and no visualmods done to my Jeep. I also have the
stock antenna. Thread was about a record not a bang for the buck mod thread.

Sorry if I seem a little agitated but I am breaking ground and sacrificing
alot to go where no Jeep SRT8 has gone. If you beat the sh it out of your Jeep
like I have sinse I got it you would need upgrades too.

HAHA How many miles does Rob have on his Jeep? LMFAO and I am at 12,500...hardly "beating" up on ours so my hats off to you re the 86K miles on your Jeep. Are all of those miles on the 440?

also CR on that Arrington is 11:0 to one, and don't forget the track rims with skinnies up front and completely gutted interior. Good information to post, robpp, and good for Chris, he's been working on getting this low for ever. He wants a 10, but he'll have to put a skinny chic in there to drop any more weight, or lexan windows. now that's a track diet.
