I was wondering what audio system you guys have and how do you have them set.
I have
Stock My Gig/Nav with the Boston speakers
Base 2
Mid 4
Treb 6
Vol usually on 20-26
(IMO my Boston rear speakers sound like chit) I'm looking for an upgrade plug & play that can handle the lows better.
Factory RAQ unit - aftermarket amp, speakers, sub woofer
Bass: 0
Mid: -1
Treb: 2
Balance: L+1
Fade: Can't fade due to amp connectivity, but I'm usually faded to the front almost entirely.
Volume: 15-20 units (aftermarket amp makes this number irrelevant to comparisons)

I have the REF head unit w/BA sound system.
Treble- +7
Mid- +1
Bass- -2
Fade- 0
Bal- 0
I just turn up the bass boost on my sub which minimizes distortion of the other speakers. Especially the full range rear door speakers. The highest I turn the volume is 25 to 30.

I have the REC nav with the Boston Acoustics sound system, also two RF punch 12's getting about 250W RMS each.
Bass: -1
Mid: 7
Treble: 9
Balance:0
Fade: R1
I have the gain on my amp set in the middle, bass boost on the amp all the way up, low pass filter is off. I usually listen to my music with the volume between 8 and 15 and it sounds pretty damn good for a stock audio system with two 12's.
