WTF shorty antenna [Archive] - JeepGarage.Org

So i was at the gas station an hour ago after a hwy drive. I went to wash off the bugs and i bumped lightly my shorty antenna with my elbow and bent it where the antenna is pressed in the base. WTF

I straightened it out but its kinked a little bit.

I am gonna email the ebay seller and bitch him out for a pos.

You should have went with Shorty Antenna Source. I've been through the auto wash several times with no problem.

i have the same antenna, and i have bumped mine many times allmost to the point of having it spear my arm, been in auto washes etc no problems with mine. maybe it was just a bad luck? i wouldnt bash him for it.

I didnt bash him but i made it clear that i was unhappy and that it should not have bent like that.

It is aluminum however, the new one i ordered is steel.

I have the same 6" spear tip antenna and I too have bumped it and had it break the skin on my elbow haha but I have not had any issues nor did it bend...did you email him he might give you a new one!

I emailed him but got nothing back. I just ordered the SS one in black 8" from the link above. I was not too fond of aluminum any way.

Ok so he emailed me back today. He is sending me another antenna but i am not going to use it.

So if anyone wants to buy one like the ebay link above let me know. $15 shipped.

Its a 12" gloss black billet aluminum antenna.
