Anyone have one on their Jeep? Are they worth it? I see a lot of the SRT8's have aftermarket ones.

theres not to much of a gain alone with them, at least not really independently confirmed. most people do them when they plan on bigger mods, so they can get the extra airflow.

The people I've sold them to, have said nothing but great things. I got 1 left I was going to put on eBay next week, but I'll hook you up instead. PM me. :)

The Fastman, of course. If you're looking for one to work on a 4.7L I'll inquire.

I sold 4 of these and have heard great things. I can't wait to test it out on the track to get some times.

from what ive seen with the vettes and some other vehicles, is you wont notice a real HP gain, but there will be a slight increase in throttle response..as far as worth it? i would say if your doing some real modding i would do it.

i already talked to Fastman, he can do a core exchange for the 4.7 for sure. I would bet the 5.7 as well.
its about 150 for the work plus shipping. and a core deposit of course.
i got one done in preparation for the 08 intake manifold.

^^ How much of a difference in power/gas mileage did you notice?

I couldn't really gauge the correct gas mileage because my foot was always pressing the pedal to the floor lol.My butt dyno definitly felt a soild power change because with a CAI and exhaust I had the TB just added to the fun.

From what my buddy says on his 6.1...... it's the poo. Huge throttle response difference. Not sure what it will be like on the 5.7's but, it's been a good thing for the SRT's. It WILL BE my next mod. Hopefully I should have one next week if all goes to plan.:D

Can any one hook me up with a 70mm throttle body for my 4 liter?
I'm having a really hard time finding anything over 63mm which isn't much of an improvement over the stock 60mm.

Dylan,You don't have a supercharger or any force induction so why would you want something so big,I think the Fastman's 62MM is more than enough. His TB are true bore with maxinum air flow, you get the best for a great guy that knows his stuff!

b/c I hear you get a lot more power with a bigger throttle body even on a stock motor and oh idk I might turbo mine.

I think that a 70MM bore is going to be overkill and it's gonna suck in to much air and your going to lose lower end torque.I'd go with the 62MM and most free flowing cold air intake you can buy or make and get the thing as far from the motor and that will give and good combo.

That's for the Arrington 90mm. Personally, I think it's overkill for a mildly modd'd SRT. If you're running like a Stage 3 or 4 heads/cam package with a P/P Intake manifold THEN I can see it making sense. They're a PITA to tune.
