Jeep in BG status?

I ordered it July 31st, just got the VON today.. I know the dealer said they were on restriction until next allocation which I was told is the second week of August. Could this be the reason the car is in BG before it goes to BX, then D? Even if the next allocation is the second week of August, why not go to BX then set a date for the future? Any help by anyone who knows a little more about ordering is much appreciated!
