leather durability

How durable do you think the perforated leather is in the Overland? Mine will see some mud, dirt, wet clothes, and a dog (not all necessarily at the same time) once or twice a month. Don't want it messing up my ventilated seats! lol

i would cover them up when you expect it to get dirty

yeah leather is not the most forgiving thing. i would get some waterproof covers immediately.
