bought the side chrome moldings and looking for some advice before installing it. I just pop off the old ones and put the new bad boys on? What tools are best and will i need clips or the moldings come with. I came across some post that u can brake the clips. Thanks in advance. The thing that sucks is you cant use multiple discounts codes for justforjeeps.

Hey Dave--
If you dont care about the old plastic moldings...I just pulled them off being careful not to bend the doors. Once you get them started on one end you can use a piece of plastic to release the clips. there will be some 3M 2x tape residue you will have to remove as well if you have an 05-06. Then the new chrome moldings just snap in.....there is also a small strip of 3m tape on the new chrome moldings. just peel the red tape back and push the new moldinbg on

290 total. i thought i could use the july 4th coupon code with the jeepgarage code but it didnt allow me. so i think i saved around $15 which covered the shipping lol. Bit on the expensive side but guess imma get more hours @ my work. justforjeeps is great for me, ordered it on the 8th and gettin it on the 9th. Gonna post up pics after installation.

I could be wrong but i did the math from moparpartsamerica.com and the 4 plastic pieces should come to about 100.. or so.

to completely keep from breaking them you need the plastic trim stick or you need to remove the door panels and push them out from the rear

I just slowly yanked them out. (the plastic ones)
Took me 15 mins max.
