and maybe its my offroading background...
but what about something like the 3.5" RK lift... some blacked out 20" rims, and some 32 or 33" AT's that fill up the wheel well... anyone? or is it just me??
whats the metric measurement of the 32's and 33's?
265/60? R20? something like that??
when i do it... you will all see... i promise

SRT reps with a 32" tire? hmmm...

arent SRT reps expensive? i was thinking something like them tho, something with five big fat spokes, like the ones that come stock on the laredo.
I think that would look sick!!

I'd say badass lol,I know you can fit a 34" tire with the 4" Superlift lift(with some minor cutting),now who is willing to spend the cash lol.

i'm planning on doing the 3.5" RK lift...
i dont mind doing some trimming to stuff the 33's....
i like to see as little room in the wheel well as possible.
i don't see how .5" can cause too many clearance problems to stuff 33" tires on a 3.5" lift.
so help me figure out numbers...
20" rims with 4.5" backspace...
what are the tire measurements?

you mean the 6 spoke rims or the five spoke ones on the older ones (before the face lift)

sorry, the ones on the earlier models. I like the design of the ones on my '07 laredo, but they arent 20's... haha

I like those on other cars but not the GC the 17's just look too small to be 17's
I mean ,18's look like 17's on the newer GC when 17's looked pretty big in my opion on the WJs so if any one wants to sell their WK 5 or 6 spoke rims hit me up.:)

20" wheels on a 3.5" lift would be sick and would be the first on a WK that i know of.....publicly anyway. Are you asking what size tires you would need for that?

Hmmm... I'll do some research but it's kinda hard to find anything for the 5x5 bolt pattern, and it might be kinda hard to find some tires for that tire size.

5x5 is one of the most common domestic bolt pattern Dylan....

this isnt going to happen for a while... the rims arent my problem..
i was looking at the nitto terra grapplers.. they have lots of tires that fit 20" rims..
my question is.. what width/side wall measurements do i need?
im used to measuring tires in inches, not CM....

so what im trying to figure out... is.... what tire size should i look for?
my calculation says something like 245/60 R20

Thinking these...

Wrapped in these...

but the 265/50 R20.... i think those are a much lower profile than 33" right?

cant wait to see your ride all done up, its going to look awesome. i think you should go with 20x10 srt reps in black powdercoat, all 4.

ebay and factoryreproductions.com. I believe the painted ones are $799 or $899 and the chrome maybe $999? Not bad really...

when those rockstars are $250 to $350.. and with a little paint over the chrome, I think they look sick... i think i like them better.. haha
i'm only 23... i have a good job.. but i cant justify paying more than 2X the price for rims that look (to me) comparably bas ass.

Hell ya, My next tires are 305/40/22 Nitto terra grapplers / Cooper Zeon LTZ
Probably which ever set is cheaper.
That's almost a 32 I believe, I run the 32" M/T's in the winter, So i'm almost positive that size will work, Will wheel spacers of course, and maybe a bolt trim too.

^^^ oh wow really??
Is it a true 3.5" or do you have spacers?
Tell me some more info bout it. Im debating going with a 3.5-4" kit, so far I can only think of a superlift kit
Relwarc
04-11-2011, 05:49 AM
no its def not true 3.5... thats really only the name of the Kit. it's more like 2" out back and 3 in the front.
for a 265-55-20 or even a 265-60-20, you're going to need probably the OME kit, that's the entry level kit that seems to give you the most overall lift. The sueprlift isnt absolutely necessary.... costs so much!
The real reason i didnt do the 20's is the cost. The tires are insane expensive for 20's in a 32 or 33" variety. Not to mention almost 1K in rims anyway.

should just do the 20s and forget the damn srt...
the superlift cost so much cause its that damn nice. although the idea of a nice size lift with a set of 20s is original, i believe its a waste.
