Some random mods i got done this week.

Well most of you are experiencing the same BS rainy weather as i am. But this left me time to get some stuff done/ordered on the jeep and today nice weather let me install it all.

First, I finished my 4.7L emblem on the tail gate.

Installed my new 8" shorty antenna.

Got a freebe jeep trailer hitch plug from a friend.

Got my new Free (warranty replacement) rain guards, in channel style. (the stick on the body style not only look ugly on the body but they barely cover any window so you can open it only a small amount, these allow the window to be open almost 2" before being past the guard. These also give much more interior shade.

I also got some more audio work done. I moved my amp in to the rear cargo area a while back but the stock cargo tray was interfering with it. So my dad (hes a carpenter) and i made this new cover for it out of some scrap Cherry plywood, recessed the bottom for the amp (amp is a bit high) and made recesses for the finger loops/hold downs. I still need to either cover it in carpet or paint it. (its never seen)

YES that 4 Is very sexy!

I love the color too. The only other color i wanted was that gunmetal color or inferno red and i could not find either and i like this color (dark khaki) because noone else had it and my dads first XJ was the same color.

Well if all goes well, I will be buying a set of 5 of these off Ducks Unlimited before winter and then getting new tires. Then my stock wheels and tires will be up for sale.

I'm kinda with Joe on the wheels. IMHO the wrangler saharas are a better look. I will sell you my 17's If you want them 4k on the tires...but they are not bling bling but IMHO they look better than the ones you posted. At any rate that color is money and like I've said before your exhaust is tight and is my second favorite behind hemijon. Great job on the 4.7!!!

I have non blingy stock 17s now, the machined face limited wheels. I really dont like the sahara wheels.

I have always like the 7 spoke wheels that were on the WJs and i like the new 7 spoke wheels.

Just wait till they are on with some new tires, i think you guys will like it.

Ewwww I hate the 7 spoke wj wheels, my neighbor has a goldish wj with those wheels and every time I see those wheels I think about how ugly the centercap is.

Oh and those rims are 17s.

The Wj 7 spokes are 17s but the ones i want are Deff 18s.

Yea they would look pretty cool. I Dont want to color match everything on my jeep because its hard to notice because its such a dark color. So i have done a few accents and such but not over doing it like some crazy chrome people out there. But i do want to do these wheels cause i think the chrome will nicely tie it all together.

You guys may not like them but i do and i think once you guys see my jeep with them on in a few months you will change your mind.:D

Nope, actually the only kershaw i have is a keychain sissors/knife thats blue.

I ve had it for years. Obv it folds, if you go by the palm of the hand rule its illegal cause its longer then the palm of my hand. But the blade itself from tip to the end of the actual cutting edge is 4" exactly.

My next knife will be a K-Bar.
