So I did the Laredo door moldings (shaved, smoothed and painted) a while ago and had planned on adding the "SRT" to replace where the "Grand Cherokee" was.

Originally I was going to have my buddy cut a vinyl decal for me....but since I can't get ahold of him I ordered up some SRT-4 trunk/decklid emblems off of ebay.

Now, I don't like shiny things too much......and they definitely wouldn't show up really well on silver so I decided to paint them Charcoal Metallic to match my wheels.

Bought the emblems on ebay, they showed up on Wed. and I prepped, painted and cleared them after work today.

A little bit of time with the X-acto knife while listening to some tunes to get a nice clean edge (top: after, bottom: before):

Used some blue tape for spacing the emblems equal on both sides and reused the clear covering that came on the emblems to remove the backing and attach them to the modlings:

Thanks for the compliments.

I think I have issues....I should be doing billing, but instead I was playing with a SRT emblem and a knife while listening to hed pe, nonpoint, etc.. LOL

Thanks for the compliments.

Nothing fancy for clear....just some high gloss rattle can clear that I picked up from the auto parts.

Nice job looks good. I just want plain chrome ones with no GC on them.
