So I did a lift on my 05,just to try it out as i've never owned a lifted vehicle before.

My question for you guys with lifted wk's is this: I'm now getting a clunking or rattling noise from the front end. I can feel it in the floorboards when the front end goes over sharp bumps. The size of the bump doesn't seem to matter, just how sharp it is. I was on a road today that was badly potholed and frost cracked (no big holes or cracks but lots of them) and i could really feel it. I've had the lift on for about 2 weeks now and went back the other day and retorqued all the bolts and nuts, but the problem remains. I can't see any points of contact (wear marks or oherwise) on any of the suspension parts and am thinking it might be the tires. I'm using a 1/8" spacer and am wondering of the tires, with the extra sidewall now, might be moving side to side and smackin the spindle when i hit these sharp bumps? Any other thoughts?
Thanks again
