Have any of your added sound dampening material to your WK's? I did see on my build sheet that my jeep has "isolation package" (Does everyone?) I was thinking maybe adding dynmat type material under the hood and maybe the rubberized for wheel wells, Do any of you have experience or can point me to a good how to or guide?

I haven't done it because I consider my Jeep very quiet on cruise. The only noise complaint I have is slight wind noise around the side window, but that cannot be fixed with any material.

The vette guys like to use "FrostKing", available at homedepot (in the HVAC dept) for cheap. Just pull your interior and lay it out. $80 should do the entire car. I did the rear with some extra over the wheel wells and I like the result. http://mikemercury.home.att.net/sound.htm

Dynamat is hella expensive, not to mention your car smells like roofing tar for awhile. If I had subwoofers I would put it in, but for road noise frostKing works.

Ask a few guys in the audio section, I think some guys used roofing ice and water shield, guess tis essentially the same thing.
