We stumbled upon this vehicle when we were hiking around Run Hill and the woods surrounding it. Anyone know what it is?

haha yea I'll break out the shop-vac and try to clean it up a little. Maybe I'll find a vin # :lol:. I'm going to go out there again when I get some time and see if I can find out any more clues.

looks to me like a 1922 under water deep sea diving vessel. these vessels were so rare that only sea divers of the greatest skill were hired to navigate them. They trained for 4 years under the most severe conditions in order to pilot these vehicles. In 1927 a vessel by the name of Miss Mirage went on a voyage to the south, and never returned. I witness accounts recall the vessel 20 years later as being haunted by ghosts and deep sea creatures never seen before the size of small horses and snouts like ant eaters....

Only thing is the 2nd pic I posted has an emblem just above the sandline. Though the car in your pic coulda had theirs shaved off.

Ha yea I'll pass on THAT project. There is a place down here that has TONS of cars I'd love to get and turn into projects but that takes $. Most of them need lots of work but there's a few that are already done up and the $ reflects it! ha
