So i was using the little slider guy on the driver side air vent for opening and closing the vent and what not. And well, it decided to break off and i was not even rough with it. Do ya think its covered under the Maximum care warranty? If not what would be required in order to fix it? I cant see how to take off that vent cover. It seems like its one solid piece with the dashboard.

I doubbt its covered under the MC warranty. But you never know. It is part of the dash. You can pull the end cover off the dashboard and see if you can reach the vent. I cant remember to be honest. It seems like I remember someone replacing the vent assembly on the passenger side.....so it may be possible on the drivers as well.

I replaced my front vents and the rear ones on the center console 3 times. All covered under warranty.

Under max care i hope? Or was this the 3/36 dealey? Cause i called my service adviser this afternoon and he suggested that its possibly that it is under warranty but he would have to take a look see at it. Here is my dash.

Ha yeah its a pretty small wiener part. So they might be like well we cant cover that cause it looks like its the whole dashboard that would need to be replaced, lol.

Mine was covered under the 3/36 . The vents are a seperate piece from the dash but they do have to remove it to get to the vents. Its like a 4 hr. job.

Ah alright, that's the thing. My 3/36 just went out but i have a maximum care now in effect so i hope they will consider it.

Took the Jeep to the dealer today and they looked at the vent. They ended up replacing it with a new vent assembly. All was covered under the Maximum Care! I would have been pissed if it was not though.
