thats an OLD oic from AEV. Its from a build for SEMA. They never made another one.
And its NOT a 08, its a 2005!

No, it's an 08 and it's not a AEV picture, i saw him when he posted in Cardomain, the AEV picture has a winch and it's older with chrome clad wheels.

it's an 08 - check the nose piece
and it was built by AEV. Same suspension as the SEMA build. the SEMA build was the original and they def built more. i couldn't get the Mojave badging or the AEV windshield sticker if it wasn't built by them
The front hidden winch mount unfortunately is not yet available to the public if it ever will be at all.
I had the base vehicle specially built from the factory. Its a Laredo w/ a bunch of Limited options including:
• QD2
• myGIG
• Gen 2 4.7 FlexFuel pushing 305hp
...and some others
I did post some pics over in the lifted section
should i list the mods over there?
thanks

ha yea - i always think that too. At first glance that's what it reminds you of. You have to look close to see the cowl AEV logo.
i should have went w/ the bead locks. I'll pick those up eventually. These get beat up on the rocks cuz i just can't air down enough to keep them totally protected.

hey - did you install the 4xguard sliders?
I plan on installing mine this weekend and was wondering, if you did, how long it took you and how painful it was.
AcidCold
07-17-2009, 01:10 PM
Not painful at all, do get some help! i did it myself and wished i had some help.
other than that, you might have a small difficulty with the front driver and pass side drilling the hole for the nut rivet! the drill had to be angled due to the doors not opening enough.

I absolutely HATE THIS JEEP!!!
But only because I LOVE it so much and wish i could lift my Wk and mimic yours but that will never happen for fear of losing my man hood per the other half.
I love the AEV wheels too, i wish they made the Pintler wheel in Chrome like the bridger wheels and i would buy a set.

no worries - i'm glad they get confused. there are differences though
here is the original AEV SEMA mojave:
http://www.aev-conversions.com/images/vehicles_show_mojave_wk.jpg
items on this vehicle not available to the public include:
AEV Hidden Winch mount
AEV Selway Roof Rack
AEV Rocker Guards
This is also a 5.7 limited w/ the original 2005 jeep wheels refinished. I believe this is viper gray, mine is jeep light gray stone pearl. This vehicle is sitting on 305's as well - mine are only 285's.
I'm installing some 4xguard rock sliders this weekend
The BIG benefit to the AEV/Superlift system is AEV developed an Electronic Geometry Recalibration (EGR) modulue. It works only w/ the 4" AEV/Superlift system and recalibrates all the computer systems from shift points to steering geometry. It allows the ESP and BAS to work as originally desing for the stock suspemsion and tire size.
When i tell you my vehicle drives like stock, i mean it drives better then stock. I've hit 110 and its just as smooth at 100+ as it is at 60MPH.
