Value on 70,000 mile 5.9?

Found a 5.9 with 70,000 on it tonight for 5,000.00 It is owned by a 73 year old man. Looks to be flawless. I think I can get it cheaper with cash in hand though. Is this a good buy?

Nada says that is what retail is, while KBB says with those miles, 6800 is private party, if u can get it for 4500, i think that would be a good price, given the condition of the Jeep

Seconded! This is a steal! When I was in the states looking at Grands, Niners with double the mileage were going for $5500 and selling before I could call!

Do not hesitate or even risk ruining it with a lower offer. No one here would call you a fool for paying the 5K asking price!

I got it for 4600.00 Picking it up tomorrow.

It has the offroad package with skids and tow hooks. Everything on it works! All I can find wrong with it is an idler tension pulley making some noise. It has a factory bug deflector that will be coming off, and mud flaps that will be coming off.

It still smells new. I am super excited.

I actually bought it to drive to work, and keep the mileage down on my Overland. But I may clean it up and just store it and drive on special occasions since the mileage is low.
