Changing front shocks - advice needed?

im doing the front bilsteins. I saw the write-up from the srt8 guy about springs but for now I am not touching my springs, just the shocks.

so I see i need a ball joint seperator. what kind have you used.

looks like all I currently have in the box is a fork looking thing. not sure what sizes i have and if they fit.

what one did you use to seperate the ball joint?

so now I have the strut out. do i need a spring compressor or anything to get the shock out of the strut???

that wasnt very clear in the srt8 post.....

no....you just need something to hold the shaft of the stock strut and then loosen the nut on top
