Product: iSimple ISCH73
Description: iPod automotive adapter
Vehicle requirements: RAK, RAQ or REC.
I've been using this product for three days. I'll update this thread if I discover anything new.

Pros:
-Goes through your VES so you don't lose audio quality (this was important to me because most iPod adapters go through FM, which will kill the audio quality (according to reviews that I've read)).
-Steering wheel audio controls work. The volume control still controls your receiver. The seek +/- controls on your steering wheel and on your receiver will change the track on your iPod to switch songs forward, backward, fast forward, rewind, etc.
-iPod is always charging when the receiver has power.
-Easy and quick install (takes about 30 minutes).

Cons:
-Apparently you lose your satellite inputs with this setup (I don't use the satellite radio, so I can't comment much further on this topic).

Sat is not lost, you can chose between losing either the SAT or VES inputs with the kit as it stands, however you can retain the use of all your inputs by wiring in a relay.

The ISCH73 is the latest version of the IPAC-CHY still the same company (PAC) just a different name (iSimple). I do not recommend using the IPAC-CHY it is cheaply made. Wiring comes lose and the module itself has a tendency to turn of and on by itself eventually resulting in complete failure. I went through 2 of the IPAC-CHY.

I have the ISCH73 but I can select VES in order to.get it to.play my ipod. Do you know how to fix it?

Either one of two causes. A defective unit or you have it wired wrong. Make sure you are connected to the VES (purple, black green, 3 connector wire) and not the SAT (white brown gray) connection on the ISCH73. Make sure you are using while the vehicle is running it will not work in Retained Accessory Power Mode, this is where the radio will continue to play after the ignition is turned of or until you open and close a door etc.
