If you read his description its like a basic summary of what the Hennessey is.

example: The SRT600 is 0.8 second quicker to 60 mph and a second quicker through the quarter than the 420-hp Jeep. Even more impressive is that it's 8.4 seconds quicker to 130 mph. etc etc

its a radar detector... they install sensors in all your bumpers and then they mount the display somewhere to keep the "stealth/stock" look

I wouldn't buy a Henny Jeep if my life depended on it. It's a jip! Way too much money for not enough performance. You can buy a stock Jeep, throw a Vortech on it for $5K and SPANK a Henny Jeep. None of their Jeeps have done any impressive numbers. The only impressive numbers have been when Henny tests it themselves. Save a bunch of money and don't get one. $30K markup for that little performance gain is highway robbery! Ohh, I forgot, it comes with a Passport detector which can be put it at ANY stereo shop for $1400.00.

I tkae that back, the only impressive Jeep is their 426 Twin Turbo and I'm terrified to see how much that costs. I know their TT setup cost about $17K!!!:eek:

They need to change their Advertising. They no longer have "The World's Fastest Jeep". They got SPANKED by Chris B's Jeep by .4 running on 7 1/2 cyclinders.:eek: They always advertise as having the "World's Fastest" everything. That shit gets old.

Chris has a 426 Twin Turbo. Fully built driveline. They broke a ring land during tuning and he decided to run it anyways. New motor is being built now for it and it should be done here in a few weeks. He lives here in Florida. We went to Gainesville about a month ago and it was breaking up pretty bad and still busted a 10.7 I believe. The thing is just flat out nasty. Twin Rear Mounted Turbos.

Henny always runs their cars for the mags but rarely runs anything against them. Heffner's Vipers will smoke them. Stage 6 Motorsports here in town who does all my work for me has built the nastiest GTTT in the world to date and were the first one's to build one. 1456rwhp. They keep trying to get Henny to run them somewhere but Henny doesn't have the balls to do it.

This is currently the nastiest GTTT ever built. Just b/c they don't get magazines to do big ol' write up and tests, doesn't mean it isn't the nastiest. Ford's head test driver from SVT drove this at their Dearborn track and said it was easily the fastest thing he has EVER driven. The Viper ACR there at the track hit 140 on the back stretch. This GTTT hit 179.:eek: Google Joe's GTTT and Stage 6 Motorsports. Tons of video's all around the web.

What kind of Lex SC or IS?

I have never heard of them before, but sounds like they know their shite.

I used to have a 560hp/pump, 640hp/pump-meth and 740hp/c16 IS300 single turbo with the Supra Getrag 6spd in it. Talk about a fun f'in sleeper!

I think their top end 426 TT kit with all the bells and whistles goes for like $45,000. Emailed them for sh*ts and giggles and they sent me a list of prices.

Something else to consider, Hennessey locks their TUNE so you can't tweak it at all (without removing the ECM maybe? IDK.). You get what you get and you enjoy it.

The best 1/4 ET they've 'advertised' is 10.88 yet there's some controversy around this as it was not done at a real track for example and NO ONE has seen a Hennessey Jeep run nearly that fast since.

Hennessey is nothing more then marketing... And he does a good job of it.I've been through their shop. It is nothing special. All they do is bolt on stuff. They get motors built here, trannys from there. Aftermarket tuning like any one of us can get from 3rd party guy's.

At one point a had a 5k bet with John to race one of their Jeeps. Mine wasn't ready in time :o They were cool about it and didn't take my money! ;)

they do have the TT kit for the CTS-V...which already has a S/C....i know this old guy that is lookin for a CTS-V, and ive convinced him to do that...but its like a $45000 package :rolleyes: im sure he'll figure out he can do it himself, he did put a 540CI in a 1973 pontiac, and a corvette engine in a mazda RX-7 as well as a volvo wagon haha

i spotted one not too long ago at a gas station and i took pics and talked to the guy. snapped pics of car. he was in a rush so i couldnt snap the interior but it looked very nice inside in terms of their dress up tactics everywhere.

yeah the kind of decals on his rig isnt the best idea but yeah..the pics..

Badges alone I could live with, the decals on all four sides maybe a bit much, but hey, if he likes it and he rocks it I guess that's all that matters for him. doors alone might be better. At least the front bumper one should come backwards for mirror viewing. :)
