I am getting a set of 4 18x7.5 Jeep JK wheels for my Wk.

I want to get a matching spare tire when i buy new tires. I dont care if the spare wheel matches.

I really dont want a nice aluminum wheel under the back of my jeep in NH salty winters getting all corroded and such and i dont want to pay the high ebay or aftermarket costs for 1 matching wheel.

So my thought is, can i buy a generic, black steel wheel with the same size/bolt pattern/ offset to mount a spare on?

Just like the non match full size spare wheel that came on the WJs just in an 18" size?

I cant find a manufacturer that sells them. It would be something that people buy for snow tires and put hub caps on. like cop car wheels. I know i have seen them before, alot of volvo and bmw owners around here do that for snow tires.

Where/ what brand?

I was thinking maybe a black cragar soft 8 or D window but I don't think they make them in 18".

LOL, Sorry dude i have 2 very interested people for the stock set. When the time comes that they are really up for sale and if neither are still interested send me a pm and we can talk. That and i want to buy 5 new tires so i need and 18" rim.

The problem with the Cragars is that they will most likely not have a stock back spacing that i can use. I want it to be as stock as possible, not sticking out or anything. I will look in to it further, i know i have seen 17 and 20" steelies.
