Didn't get to where I was trying to go up in Jefferson Nat'l Forest but go to a point that we couldn't keep going so we turned around and explored another route. We wound up on Mountain Lake Rd (Dirty Dancing) and took that all the way to about here ( 37.412505,-80.523047 ) before it looked like people stopped clearing the road and the snow was about 4' deep on the road.

I think I may wind up trying to get the OME later on though since I've read on here that they are 2" longer than stock and the bilsteins are the same as stock. Considering the lift it seems like its the right direction to take.....Yea I have 1.5" spidertrax wheel spacers.

Idk why the 1.5" opposed to the 1.25". No real reason I suppose, just to get that extra distance outwards and away from that bolt. I haven't had any issues with rubbing outside of while in full lock backing up. I haven't compared the two brands personally but I hear nothing but good things about the OMEs. Just seems to make sense to get the longer shocks after you add the height but like I said I have the Bilsteins now and they work great. My cousin has the same lift on stock shocks and says my ride is smoother. I haven't gotten a chance to ride in his jeep so I haven't compared for myself.

I was spotting, my nephew was driving, but I think he got off clean - there are a couple rocks strategically placed (not by me) that allowed a smooth transition.

nice pic! i've always been a fan of those Good Year Wrangler MT's ... really nice tire... in my opinion top 3 best mud tire out there!I chose the MTRs because they're tough - I've sliced sidewalls on two other tire types on that trail before, I've never had a problem with MTRs. I hate the new MTR tread pattern though, I wish they had kept the original pattern.

Had an EPIC Los Angeles weekend. Snowboarded backcountry powder all day and then made it home early enough to get surf session in...

heres a couple of pics in alaska. me and buddy were messing around on some trails and were heading down a hill that "apparently ran into a road" but it turned into a cliff then a road... so we tried to turn around and had no traction what so ever, so needless to say we were stuck for about 7 hours trying to recover it....

I'm running 1.5" spacers, and 265/70 17s on the tires. I have a set of Procomp rims going on there, and a 2" OME lift... but waiting for the lift in the mail. Had to put the tires and spacers on first for the trip. They worked great, but definitely have slight rubbing when about 75% locked on a turn. Also rubbed at the top slightly when hitting some big bumps... but those should both be solved with the 2"lift. I also was carrying a totally packed load... so the weight didn't help.

Nope. No rubbing. I have the Rocky road 2.25 lift with 1.5 spacers and 265/70/17. Thanks for the props, yours is coming along nicely, cant wait to see it lifted! The duratraks look sweet :thumbsup:. And I am a sucker for a roof rack, I think cargo basket or ski racks set off pretty much anything they are sitting on haha. Not to mention they come in handy when camping or keg carrying

The light is a 20" and it's awesome. WAAAY brighter than stock high beams and doesnt have the cutoff. Its also a spot/flood combo so it will light up trees and all. I've been trying to get some good night shots put together but haven't had the time yet. When I do I'll post them up.

I need to redo my tails and I got the back tinted to 5% but left the rear window 20% so I could actually see when backing up at night. It's KILLING me though I think I'm gonna call my guy again and see when he's gonna be my way again so I can get the rest 5%.

Here in CA we are not allowed to have any tint in the front driver and passenger side window no matter how dark... with that said, i love having my front windows tinted haha x2 re: black is the new chrome... i hate chrome!

My front windows are still illegally tinted so it wouldn't keep me from getting a ticket. I will print that out and put it there though just in case, never know when you might need something.
