First thing i noticed on the donor seats were the power connections, they have a much different harness than my 05 did so for the driver side i spliced and wired it without a problem.
The passenger side was a different story! my 05 has the air bag sensors and the donor seats didn't, not to mention that the connections were complicated and i didn't want to deploy my air bags, with that said, i just used the old bracket with everything on there (sensors and right connections) and got rid of the donor bracket with the new and different harness.
Everything works just fine and looks and feels like a total different WK! I love them, by far one of my favorite mods!
Here are a few pictures, the first one is of the splicing.

SRT seats are some of the most comfortable and supportive seats ever. All of the SRT seats, from the Grand Cherokee, to the 300, and Charger. I love them. :D

What happened to the guy you bought the seats from?
BTW, dont do the carpet dye. I used to work in an auto accessory/restoration shop, the carpet dye is junk and will wear off in high traffic areas. Just say no to any interior painting products(the only want to go is a professional body shop) Any parts or areas that are highly used will never hold up unless you send them off to a good body shop to be done.
