LOL it seems like every thread I bring up about wheels is someone who put either oem or factory reproductions srt8 wheels on their ride.
Any pics of 20's that are not the SRTs?
Ive been working the wife and she agrees that her wheels are "boring" but I dont want her car to look like everyone else'.
She also does not want chrome or black.... so that kinda eliminates the SRT reps anyways unless they come in the factory looking aluminum finish as well....
So I am leaning towards silver/aluminum/polished type finish or maybe black chrome.
Are those viper wheels out yet? Those in black chrome would look sick on her car.

I believe the Replicas are avail in black too mate.
At the risk of getting flamed, I do think the place is over run with the SRT wheels though, and I believe a change is better than a holiday :)

Thanks Marlin. I always want to try something different.... its a flaw errr ocd trait that I have.
What kind of wheels/size are you running? Those look pretty nice.
As for the black... thats a no go from the wifey. She doesnt want black since my truck has gloss black wheels and she doesnt want to look like she is copying me. I did however get a response from FR that they can do the SRTs in BlackChrome but it would take an extra 4 weeks to get the finish put on them. So if all else fails I would be one of the only people out there with blackchrome srt wheels :)

I think they'd look good in black chrome. (what colour is the Jeep?)
quite a few guys run from memory, what is called a Boss 335 or something.... maybe check those out.
Mine are 22x9.5" with +40mm offset.

The jeep is a Steel Blue Limited with the 5.7L
Your wheels look nice. 22 is a bit big for her though. What kind are they?
Ill check into the Boss wheels.

Hmmm, yeah I think black chrome would be nice on that, nice colour :)
The ones I have are also available in 20", and with black centre/polished lip... over here in Oz they're marketed as Damani, but over your way I believe it's called Zinik or similar.....
Finding a wheel with the correct pattern and offset is the hard part.... our Jeeps run 5 x 127mm stud pattern fyi.

Thanks again for the info. 5x127 or 5x5 and a +30-50 offset I believe is what is necessary.
Your right though so far I am having trouble finding stuff. I looked at some damani wheels and there is some sweet stuff out there. Who knows what she will end up with.
I also checked out the 335's and not quite my style.

Do you have the rockstars? Chrome is becoming an option now and I always loved the rockstars. Any pics of them on a street style jeep?

Ha Ha I wish, My fiancée wont let me do anything to "Blingin" LOL I managed to get away with 18" Wrangler Sahara wheels.
But i think Chrome RockStars would look amazing on your color.

I used to have rockstars on my RAM but I am no sure how they would ook on a wk let alone a lowered wk.
maybe someone can photoshop it on a stee blue srt since that is the stance i am going for on her limited.

Thats the problem. The Rockstar Wheel is only available in a 20x8.5 with an offset of 10. which would mean a spacer would need to be installed.
Now if the stock front wheel is a 20x9 with a 35 offset would this be the equivalent to a 20x9 with a 22ish offset? Since that extra half inch is roughly equal to 12.5mm.
Now my reasoning could be wrong but this could potentially be at about the stock specs on a 20x8 wheel with a 1/2" spacer....
I still would need to have an idea of what it would look like tho....

HAHA Startechs are not an option.
I may be thinking incorrectly on the spacing as the rim is narrower which would mean I woud need to push it further out. now if it was a 20x9.5 then my math migh be correct.
As for pics... I dont have the car yet. It is getting funded today and shipped to me next week.
How about a steel blue srt since thats the suspesion I am going to use and I am looking for the side skirts and front bumper. no rear conversion though since I want to tow if needed.

Sorry dude, i cant find any decent pics of chrome rock stars not on a 8 lug truck or hummer where it would look good. The only good ones i can find are black rock stars and it just does not look right at all.

Not yet available. I emailed them and they said 6 more weeks but then again from what I can tell on various forums they were supposed to have been ready 6 months ago.

The dalars are sweet. Ive been looking into them. The only problem is they d not make our pattern. You actualy have to get giovanna to send them un drilled, then get a wheel shop to drill them appropriately. From my understanding the back also needs to be machined to get the right offset
NHWK if you get a moment can you make the srt wheels look like they have color matched wheel vinly in the valleys of the spokes? I have seen people use black in there but think it would be cool to color match it.

The dalars are made for our WK's. They didn't used to make them but when I called a few months ago on 4/1/09 they told me they were currently making them...they are just very hard to find and most shops have no clue except what their book says.
Call WTW Corp they make the Giovanna Dalars and talk to Greg Grigoryan.

FYI, Check out this thread, Steel Blue WK with black spokes on SRT wheels. I will use these pics to edit them if you want but its not going to look much different in a picture black vs blue.

Actually, you're going the wrong direction with the offset and spacers. The positive offset moves the rims "inwards" . If there's not enough then they will start to stick out beyond the fenders, then if you add a spacer it gets even worse. Also keep in mind that backspacing and offset are related to the wheel and it's size, not to one another. You can have an 8" wide wheel with say a 6 inch backspacing and a +50mm offset,if the wheel was 9" wide you could still have a +50mm offset but the backspacing goes up to 7".
