Curious as to direction others have taken on emblems. Are most debadging or adding a few emblems to their Jeeps. As example; I was pondering adding a "Hemi" emblem or a 5.7 & Hemi emblem... still pondering since I like both a clean look and also like a little touch of display too. It's a personal taste similar to the chrome or cloak subject; and possibly a generation thing... in my circle, the 50's gang likes emblems & chrome and the 30's gang tends to debadge.

I took all mine off, apart from the 4.0L at the back...and that was just to annoy the goody goody people in the UK...
Big engined cars are the devil in the UK....

I devadged mine but am waiting on a new Jeep badge coming through the mail for the hood as I kinda miss that one.
Debadging, you can dunk a towel in boiling water from your kettle and sit it over the badge or use a hair dryer to gently heat the badge and glue. Grab some dental floss and begin to saw through the glue behing the badge. Remove any glue with tar and glue remover and give the area a light polish then wax.

Debadge. I was a little iffy about it myself... I liked my HO badge...but I finally did it and I'm so glad I did.
1. Makes detailing the vehicle so much easier
2. If people don't know what it is, they don't deserve to know
3. Not familiar with WK2 badges, but on mine I was able to re-use if need be on most of them, so it's not permanent if you decide you hate it after a few weeks. My HO and Quadradrive badges got re-purposed under the hood.

I prefer to completely debadge.
But......don't leave out the option to "decrease".

Mine has the trail rated badge, painted black 4x4 badge, Hemi badge, and added a black autobot badge on the right fender where a trail rated badge "should" be.
