Oh Damn. I like the hood a lot. Not crazy about the Audi looking grill but overall I like it. Love the new huge touchscreens undone the new dodges.

all i know is i got about 20K left on my beast and i wouldnt get a first year production SRT8, id wait for a 2013 model. and by then i will be almost done with my current loan. only time could tell. what i do know is my jeep is a keeper- i cant pay it off and just flip it, not after its paid off.:thumbsup:

my company supplies the Fusion aluminum sheet for that hood and the Jeep hood. Its two different alloys sandwiched together.

that is an expensive hood too. My company invented Fusion technology and it is not cheap. Its two alloys cast at the same time. Used mostly in the aerospace world....think F22 raptor etc.

It is growing on me the more I look at it. It is definitely an aggressive design. It does have an Evo-ish front end but I like the evo. I must say though that this is the first SRT vehicle that I do not instantly like the wheels. I think they went the wrong way. Love the rear end. I also don't understand the 5 hp less rating then the challenger but it will not be felt.

New ZL1 camaro was released too. 550 hp/550 tq and magnetic ride control with big brakes. We live in special times for sure.

The Boeing 787 Dream Liner uses the same alloy also right now alongside with the composites, way to go Scott :D

When you make a cars shape to reduce drag there is not alot you can do different, if you look at all the full size pickups they all have a very similar exterior design, smooth edges, rounded truck beds... Once a shape has been deturmined its simply making that shape look pretty... and sorry but there is only so much room on that tree for ornaments, and some look better than others, so yes cars will look similar to others when you consider the thousands if not tens of thousands of different cars made to date.

Personally when I first saw it I though GTR, which if this 40+/- thousand dollar car makes me think of a 120k dollar car... no complaints here ;)
