I just bought an Commander, when asking for better tires, Cooper donīt make S/T for 17" rims, so I need 16" rims but do they fit? the Grand Cherokee -99 -04 got the same boltcircle 5" 5 (127) and go from 65 to 70 profile make the same radius, but does it fit for caliper/disc?

yep...the calipers are the problem...thye are pretty large and couple that with the high positive offset of the stock 17's.

Thanks, If I look for any aftermarket rims, that maybe fits, what will be the smallest distance betwen riminsisde and caliper, 4 mm ? I like coopers S/T with stud, anya other suggestion for 17" ?

A few guys managed to fit 16'' rims on there WK, I believe it was a 05 and a 06. Calipers are bigger on the 07+. It would not hurt to have the wheel store test fit a wheel for you.

Cooper is making Discoverer S/T in 17" size. Check LT265/70-17. I just check on their web and yes, they are there. So check again
