My question is pretty straight forward i suppose. I am wondering if there are any other software tuning mods that are available for the 4.7L motor other than the superchips programmer? If so what are they and their benefits? I really don't think i am looking for an actual computer chip that i would be plugging into the car, but rather a software tuner.
Thanks everyone.

Thanks. I don't think there is anything wrong with the superchips tuner, and i'm sure its fine, but i would have wanted to see a few more options out there.

I hear ya Mike, I'm enjoying the option of testing the performance with my sc more than the actual performance gains that it provides. Like I stated in my intake thread, I gained more performance 0-60 with my 60 dollar intake setup, than I did with my 300 dollar tuner.

I just wish the SC could be customed tuned like the Diablo. Maybe someone will do it sometime.....LOL

Gears cams and torque converter would be a great way to go about better low end performance, not sure if there are any high stall TC for these trans and no gears available but just figured i would point out great ways to get power out of any vehicle..

I believe Hypertech just came out with a new tuner for our vehicles.

SCT tuning is available for the 4.7s. I cannot speak for the WKs, but the 04+ Dakotas/Rams that have NGC PCMs are compatible.
As far as converters, yes, they are available....Pro-Torque is the company to go with. There are cheaper ones available, but they have a much higher failure rate.
