AEV Pintlers... Stock Height

So I know some folks who are running AEV Pintlers with 265/65/17 at stock height and are having zero rubbing issues.

Does anyone know from experience if 265/70/17 can be ran on Pintlers without a lift as well, or is that just too big?

I've searched numerous forums for weeks off and on, no definitive answer thus far.

I got Wrangler Silent armours on my Pintlers. Had them all mounted before the lift went on and of course had to see what they looked like. Yup, lots of rubbing with 265/70/17's when I turned either directions and on the pinch weld. Lots of clearance from the UCA bolt though.
Still get a little minor rubbing on the pinch weld plastic on turns after the OME lift is on.

I figured that next size up would be too big. Guess I'm going with a lift then. Thanks BAH.
