Hi,
I've got a 95 grand cherokee that started slowly a couple times, like the battery was dying, then next day wouldn't turn over at all. Had the battery checked and was told it was bad, so put in a new battery. Never a quick and easy fix. The lights come on and everything electrical works when I turn the key on, including the reverse lights, but no click or anything when try to start. Nothing. I do hear what sounds like fuel pump when I turn key on. There seems to be voltage at the starter (replaced starter a few months ago). Have recently replaced crankshaft position sensor and oxygen sensors. Also, no change when I put it in neutral and try to start it. Not sure where to go from here.
I'd appreciate some help.

Try tapping the starter with a hammer while someone tries to start it. If it starts with the tapping then your starter is junk. But if you're getting voltage to the starter the starter is probably junk so replace it.
