I seen a murdered out FX that looked sick. Even the V6 FX35 is fast as hell. I was going to buy my friends at the end of his lease. He only does like 8k a year cause he travels for work. It's fully LOADED with that orange kinda color interior. It's so sexy!!! I think it's a 07 or 08 cause it hads the clear led tails. Last I heard he was trading it in for the new one. I'm supposed to meet up with him tonight though.

Personally I would say pretty hot.. I love the look of lighter colored exteriors on all black wheels..

---------- Post added at 01:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:27 PM ----------

haha it's sticking around for a bit. I might hold out for the new 2011 Grand Cherokee that way I could most likely use the reps on that.

i wanna put 30's on myWK... does anyone know if I need to trim "the bolt"?

Scottina06
08-06-2009, 05:24 PM
no...no trim needed.....LOL....unless you go 33's

Marlin
08-06-2009, 05:29 PM
Ok cool, so, if if I go with 30" rims with a 33" tire, how much will I need to trim "the bolt".
Do I actually need a tire or will a strip of conveyor belt work??? (you know, cut it to length and staple gun it together)

And will I have any other rubbing issues?

Sorry if these questions seem stupid, I don't know much about mechanical stuff.

Scottina06
08-06-2009, 07:31 PM
no issues....but instead of the staple gun I suggest black duct tape to match better. I have some spare belt if needed

Duct tape? Really? Do you mean the stuff that you like join wires with or the stuff that I've like seen on racing cars when they tape them together and stuff?

---------- Post added at 12:36 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:35 PM ----------

stuff on race cars-----the packaging has ducks on it. You could also do red tape for that racer look. i even used the red tape for racing stripes....

yes....but I only have enough for one 30" wheel......I'll make the first and you can copy it.

Forget about it. Imagine driving on the FDR with those. In NYC you wouldn't even make it to the highway with those. With 28" you could only pull in and out of your drivevay loke a hot wheels. LOL

I Love the look but i hate that finish, either, chrome, polished, black finish would look alot better with less suspension.

I can tell it's brand new in the pic. IMO the truck should be dropped a lil.

Look at the second pic front tire, nitto tires.
