Its raining here in the Chi so I really really need new wiper blades. So the front wiper blades are pretty straight forward to change. No problem there. But i have not bothered to look into how to change the rear one. I am sure it is about as easy as the front but i never looked into it. So here is my excuse for a technical thread. How is it done??

You are correct, it is fairly straight forward. I replaced mine on my 06 and it was real quick. I don't remeber the exact process/how to other than I pulled the arm and blade away from the body and disconnected the balde and body from the arm. Sorry I can't be off more help.

For the rear you need the refill. The old one needs to be slid out and the new one slid and snapped back into the last claw.

That is not true; you do not need to buy just a refill. I bought the entire fram and blade (not to be confused with the wiper arm). It doesn't need to be a refill only. I bought mine from Checker's O'Reilly. Hope that helps.

Yeah i mean the only stores we have around here is autozone, advance auto parts, walmart and napa. The only things they sell is the steel frame and blade. I went to all four places except the dealer. So either it was that (which does not work or fit for that matter), the dealer or a refill. I had to work with what we have around here.

FYI, the model I just purchased was a Trico ExactFit model 14-C.
Looks identical to the factory blade.
