View Full Version : Anybody Do This Custom Mod Yet?

Just curious, as for custom hoods and what not, has anybody on this forum put the Dodge Ram (Viper, Daytona, Sport) hood on their Grand Cherokee? I know you can buy just the scoop itself and fiberglass it on, but I havent seen no pics, I wanna do this because I love my dads Dodge Ram Daytona hood, so when the GC is paid off its time to design the new hood.

I believe that someone has put hood scoops on, but they're not fiber-glassed on.

There is a similar hood to what you're talking about on http://www.fiberglass-hood.com/__Photo-Product-Views/A-Hood-Specs/T-Hoods/tfch-05dt.htm. Called the deep throat sts hood. Is this it?

holy shit, yeah thats the hood, I didn't know they made them for our jeeps yet.

they dont make that hood, that picture has been there for many moons but NO HOODS PRODUCED!

I know. I was just gonna add that. But at least we know its been thought of. I did see it on a site somewhere on a Jeep and it looks pretty good. Someone's gotta make that.

There's got to be somewhere out there that would make this hood, I know alot of people would buy it to, I know a couple dodge ram owners and the only reason why they bought the dodge was because of that hood. I'd buy the hood in a second if it came out. If it doesn't come out I'll probably get it custom built onto the hood I got now.

Oh yeah him, yeah his hood is sexy, but I really want the SRT10/Daytona Ram hood, I'm addicted to it

There's this hood going around the other site for the GCSRT8s. Something to look into.

Oh sorry I never saw the hood on your Jeep, wow it looks great, roughly where did you find the hood? where can you find it, which siteS? also what roughly did it cost.

Looking at that hood I think it might be overkill on a regular WK. On a SRT it's great. I wish it didn't have the front intakes. I don't know?
