So I took the wifes car. She got to drive it one day, then I went for a 3 hour drive to my buddy's house in Vegas.

No, they are at the tire shop. I will be picking them up tomorrow. You interested? I am planning on putting them up for sale to recoup some of my spending.
Also SRT Sways are on their way. I had hoped to have them for this weekends mod fest but the guy lagged on shipping. Oh well, what can you do.

Hmm, I'll see depending on the price. Fall semester is coming up, I might be held back. It sucks modding on a budget LOL

HAHA! I have some things to do still that are cheap so I will add more soon. I need a shorty antenna and those chrome covers for the mirrors so I can PTM them.
After that I need to chill for a bit unless I come across so good deals on things like an 08+ SRT Front Bumper and Sides, HID Headlights, 08+ Grill etc...

srt pedals too? LOL. only 44$, mirror covers are like 44$ also.
Is it a magic number or something? Haha

Looks great!!! How's the ride now??? Also I like that fit of tires on those wheels. Good job!!!

To me the ride is still great. More feedback from the raod but not harsh at all.
The tires seem to be ok so far. They do pick up small rocks tho.

do you prefer the stock ride better? or the ride you have now for comfort wise?

Looks great, although the engine bay could do with a clean! :D
Sure you've noticed a big improvement in the handling now!?

As far as bumps go the stock ride is more forgiving.
However I have always driving vehicles with modified suspension. All my cars have been lowered and my truck is lifted. This is still more comfortable than my truck to drive.
Also I personally prefer to have a little more bump so that you get more feedback from the car about the road. I love how the power steering is there but its been tuned back to not be so soft. My wife on the other hand thought the wheel was hard to turn

@ Lord feyr:
Any info on where you picked up those rims and intake?
How do you like the intake?
Jeep looks awesome now. You just had the front windows tinted right?
@JG crew:
do you have to change anything if you go from stock 17"s to these SRTs? Or is it a swap?
lordfeyr

I picked up the wheels from a local shop who went to Factory Reproductions in Chino to get them.
The intake is nice. Personally I would have gone with an open one like the K&N for a little more noise but this fits my wife good while still giving an improvement.
Also to answer JG's question. On a WK this is a straight swap. Same pattern etc... so no biggie to put em on.

KITSOS (http://www.jeepgarage.org/member.php?u=371) You can't receive PM . Here is a link to your question , and the Volant intake with the lid off is very loud . but i keep the lid on and is slightly louder than the stock box .
