Starting mid 40's is the prediction.

I'd say no less than mid 40's, probably fully loaded around $51-53k is my guess

my guess is the around the same as the Overland, if not slightly less (just as with the WK)

When I first saw the WK2 I couldn't wait for the WK2 SRT8... but now I'm getting kind of gun shy. Mid 40s would be tolerable but anything more and it won't pass the smell test. Yes I know its 470/470 but its still a heavy arse truck and mid 12s isn't really all the spectacular considering the cost.

I hope they don't try to rape customers as that will be the end game for me.

Not to mention monthly fuel costs will be more than the car payment itself lol Now THATS hard to justify. As much as I love the new Grand Cherokee im stayin with a car. Somethin with a manual tranny should keep me occupied for a while :-)

I still cant believe Chrysler has done such a good job of keeping things on the down low. The fact that there has to be new SRT8's built and being tested since its debuting in a little over a month and no real info has been leaked. Crazy!

id hate to see it top 50k...thats definitely too much for a jeep, srt or not.

id agree to the same price as the overland...who knows with the economy the way it is. they may need to drop it.

The 2010s loaded out were high 40s....some I saw stickered at 49k and 50k

The 2012 loaded out should be the same if not a little higher...52k?

This is just my opinion.

One thing's for sure, if we get a UK version it will cost the same in ££££ as yours is in $$$ The Overland diesel is around £43000 when it goes on sale in May

I believe the car and driver article said 46k base. I'm trying to figure out how big of a trade in I could get on a summit for the srt8 when it comes out!

:slapfight: I would say 46K + tax. It wont be such a good investment until the more substantial mileage saver 8speed ZF transmission gets adapted. 5speed

would turn it into 10mpg city and 14 highway.
