I'll try giving him a call tmrw to see what is sched is like. You just need your stock muffler taken out and replaced with the powerstick correct?

You can probably even trust a place like midas to do a quickie job like this.. Especially if you're not adding an exhaust tip..

ya, midas quoted me a 100 an hour and its about an hour job, my uncle will prob do it for free and i know his work is top notch

Jesus. A hundo is pricey for just that quick of a job. I would honestly just wait it out and get it done free if you can. Keep some money in your pocket for another mod or gas in the tank at least.

I think it came out pretty good too.. Screw paying $100 per wheel when you can do them all for 8 bones.

Make sure you clean them with some dawn or some dish soap to wash all the grime away or it wont stick all that well. Dont use clear on them either i made that mistake if you want to go flat just spray them. If you want glossy hit it with some clear after the flat.

All right, thanks guys for the advice. If I can get my friends old stock 17s from his wk. Then I'll do it.

The powerstick doesn't flow that well. Sure, it sounds good, but BUBBADOG ran dyno tests back to back with a 3" 20" long powerstick and a open 3" cutout. With the cutout open he gained 17 whp. His cat is gutted so you can take that out of the equation.

Supposedly he will be swapping to the same Magnaflow that I run as well as Hannes, the (IIRC the correct part number) 14519. I am very confident that his cutout-closed numbers will increase by at least 10whp.
