New manifold, CF Strut Bar, 90mm TB, etc..

Installed a few new parts yesterday on my Jeep with ekaz, hops23 and cmn1. Thanks for the assistance and to cmn1 on figuring out why the big infrared tube heater in my shop wasn't working :D

I had bought a stage 2 Arrington intake manifold from another member on the red site and sent it to Modern Muscle in VA to have them weld up the O-ring groove and then fully machine the opening up to match a 90mm TB.
When all that was done I took it to a local powder coating place, Vanilla Gorilla Coating Systems. I had Ray polish it and then powder it in a translucent smoke color.

Since the manifold was getting swapped I also ordered up some intake spacers from Stack Performance. Very nice product and Ryan over there is great to deal with.

Also installed a brand new Arrington 90mm TB that I bought from ekaz and I masked up and painted satin black prior to install.
Of course this meant I had to change to the cobrahead coupler for the TB.

Picked up a larger AFE filter for the Arrington Intake and also picked up a Volant prefilter cover/drycharger.

And last but not least, I had an extra strut bar that I sent to Black Ops to have covered in carbon fiber to match the Arrington Intake tube.

I have some more stuff that will be going on soon....just need to order up one more thing....

And after that, I am done modding the Jeep....I swear, LOL :D

Look'n nice Dan. What's the deal on the strut bar? Black Op's cover it with fabric then resin it?

Thanks for the compliments......and yes, the strut bar was wrapped with fabric and resin, polish it etc. Just like they would they other carbon fiber stuff they make, just instead of a mold they wrapped an extra strut bar that I had.

All because I ditched the HOK Kandy Cobalt Blue Bwoody CAI......made me change the planned manifold color and it was painter's idea on the CF strut bar, so I got on the phone with Chad to see if it could be done, and how much. :D

Looks good...with one minor suggestion. Can the bar be rotated around so that the fiber direction matches that of the intake? I'm nit-picking here, but it was the first thing I noticed. Otherwise, if it doesn't bother you then no biggie!

Sweet, the stock SRT strut bar will be mine once its arrives. YAY! Finally got one!
