08 Wrangler tail lights

I'm wanting to mod the tail lights on an 08 Wrangler. Anybody with tips on how to separate the red lens from the base? I've tried the oven bake (225 for 15 min.) that just melted the reflector. I'll buy another set of lights and try again if anybody has any suggestions.

tails are crazy hard to seperate. I have heard of people cutting them aprt...but not baking like with headlights. Are there any aftremarket lights you like or what are you trying to do. We have a vendor here that tints asnd paints tails.

I really wanted to install my own LED's inside of old tails. I don't really like the aftermarket LED tails. I really hate to take a Dremel to them.
