I saw that when I did a search last week. I wonder if its a painted SRT8 or if its a kitted WK with SRT bumper.

The grill is chrome, so thats a little skeptical. Plus no engine photos. And does not mention motor size.

maybe its a rebuild? some of the front panels are misaligned. That doesnt mean anything though

i dont see SRT embroidery on the front seats. in all my pics even night photos the white SRT stitching jumps out on all of them...

...to all Jeeps fans out there, We have seeing the new SRT8 garaged and all wrapped up at a facility last week. We cant say where but what we can do tell is that it does indeed look very much like the Grand Cherokee 'lowrider' presented by Mopar at Sema ( we anticipated this.. ). Sema Jeep may have been the real thing disguised with an Overland interior.. Chrome is all GONE all around except for exhaust tips... well tips were really burned up from testing we assume.. but they did look chrome like.. HUGE tips on sides. It had some type of black pearl effect paint and 20" magnesium wheels on W-rated P-Zero rubbers. We did feel like SRT8 seats much lower than Overland or Laredo's out there. This led us to believe this is a road-only-oriented type of vehicle. Interior was all dark trim-carbon-finished I would say.. with LOTS of yellow nicely done stitching all around seats and other areas, racing oriented seats similar to Audi S5 (in our opinion). Hood had 2 indented type of vents oriented towards windshield and front bumper resembled Sema 'lowrider' with some tweaking I should say.. in lower area.. sort of like a lower lip extension/expansion.. I can't say I did like that.. Looked real BAD-ASS overall!! It look like a black angry Puma waiting to be released and run wild. Yellow suspension shock absorbers and coils.. and 200mph speedometer.

This bright silver mule unit as seeing in Road&Truck is not even close to the final vehicle, not even wheels are close enough so don't be fooled just yet. We saw the real thing and that's what you should expect at NY Show. Enjoy!
