So I have the OME MD Lift on my 3.7 WK. My engine is light and the OME MD lift jacked the front up pretty high. The weight of all WKs in the rear is the same I think.
I was just wondering would it be ok to buy a set of OME HD coils/springs for just the rear?
I will be selling the rear MD coils I all ready have with less than 1000 miles on them.

buy a trim spacer from OME for the rear.. should level her back out.

Their trim spacers are only 10mm. That's not even half an inch. 0.39 inches. Do you think HD rear coils will give it a boost? I would even do a 0.5 inch spacer or something close to 1 inch. Hmmmmm......
Help me out here. Lol.

Here is the picture. The rear is about an inch lower than the front but I know that's because the front wheel wells are cut bigger than the rear.
I just want to rear about an inch or maybe half an inch higher. What do you all think?

It is leveled. An I actually took more measurements today. I just wanted the rear to sit a little higher.
This is what I think will happen; I'm going to drive around and just forget about it and leave it like it is eventually. Yep....I thinks that's what's going to happen.

The front fender well always bothers me on side views too because of the cut making it look like its higher in front... even though we all know its level. It looks a bit odd, but I still like it. I wonder if the OME lift can be done with the rear part of a BB spacer lift to keep the factory angle that so many people hate. (I like it though)

Thanks for all your suggestions. I'm going to have the rear coils swapped because "A" coil is on the passenger side. Totally forgot about it.
hella, I like your WK. Keep it clean/sleek/stealthy/simple. That's what I like to do. But I'm not dipping my wheels though. I only like to stretch the stock look.
Micallef, I've been wanting to do those PIAA's down there in the stock location every since I saw yours which was before I was a member of any forum. I will be modding mine to the stock OEM fog light wire harness to work with the OEM multi-function switch. It's the next mod on my list which will be completed soon after taxes on tags, bills, bills, and more bills.

Im on the same boat as you with keeping the jeep looking as stock as possible. i don't like the look of when everything is changed.. makes cars look cheap.
But i still cant decide on plasti-dipping the wheels.. i like the stock look. but from what ive seen so far.. everybody has something good to say about it.... so we'll see what happens
im just not sure how black wheels will look on a blue jeep.

Your WK is black. Dipping them would be great. All black. Everything black.
This my friend is my custom stealth rear view night vision camera:

All you need is a universal camera with a metal braket on it like this, flatten the braket by bendig it and you can mount it between the plate and the plate holder like a sandwich.

I have 5% on top of 20%. Lol. It's just a universal camera. It's not hard. I posted about it briefly in my previous post.

dayumm.. blacked out much? aha
anyways is it wireless? or how does that work? wiring that seems like a bitch.. and the fact the its sandwiched between the two plates seems like it would move around the angle on you??
ill check that out right now

It's not wireless. I ran the video and acc wire into the existing hole into the lift gate, ran the wires through that rubber gasket in the ceiling, all the way down to the A-Pillar on the driver side, into the dash and wired to the acc wire for the Pioneer so that the camera is on all the time.
Same camera since 2006.

I have 5% over the factory and I have to look before I get into my Jeep to see how wide the road is before I back out. 100% worth the sexy blacked out look though. The price we pay for beauty.

I see everything with the camera. I can drive in reverse I've gotten so good with it. Wide fish eyed angle. Back in parking has never been so simple.
And with the V-LED reverse lights I will be installing soon, I'd be able to see even more.

I did this before I was a member of any forum. I don't have a write up. I don't want to disturb the camera because it's settled in now.
And on yeah, this is my second plate with this camera. I keep drilling holes and reinstalling.

hey bro, where did you find an ome 3" lift?
lll2for3lll
04-05-2011, 09:26 AM
It's not an OME 3" lift. It's the the 2" lift but I got 3" of lift from it. I should put that in my signature. My bad.
