FIXED!!!!I'm going to the dealer tomorrow so they can StarScan it but I just wanted to know if anyone knew what would trigger that light to come on. I haven't done anything out of the ordinary except trying to install LED parking/blinker and resistor. I blew the parking lamp fuse but that was it. I also disconnected the battery at one point. FIXED!!!

yes...disconnect the negative terminal on the battery and then open your door and pump the brakes. I like to leave mine disconnected atleast 15 minutes.

Are you EFFING with me? LOL. I'm only asking because it sounds like something we would do to newbees in the Marines. Making them ask our Sergeant for an ID 10 T form. So, pop my hood and close my driver door, disconnect the NEG cable, open the driver door and pump the brakes for how long?

Hey Eddie, I had the airbag light come on my WK a few months ago. Took it to the dealer and they told me that the "spring" in the the steering wheel needed to be replaced. They quoted me $700 to replace it. I flipped and called Chrysler directly. After a 30 min conversation, I got the service done for th $100 deductible. I say get it looked at soon. Good luck.

Probably it needs to be re calibrated, but it could also be the seat belt buckle, a $500 replacement deal btw... :o

I had the same code, turned out to be the connector that was plugged into the seat belt pre-tensioner was loose, just needed to be pushed on a little harder and then have the light reset.

Turns out that the fuses labeled SPARE under the hood in the box closest to the front ARE NOT SPARES!! LOL LOL LOL. I used one of the two 10 AMP fuses under the yellow clip and it turns out that fuse is for the Occupant Restraint Controller. I replaced it and TAADAAA!! No more light. Thanks to Robpp over "there" for correcting me. The underside of the fuse lid says SPARE. Stupid me. Lol.

i currently have this stupid light on, just started coming on last week for some odd ass reason. the last time i disconnected my battery it cost me $285 to get everything reprogrammed and working again (navi, stereo, vid system, alarm, etc).

i had this light on for a while as well... it woudl come on and off randomly. i finally noticed it was because whenever my girlfriend drove my jeep she moved the seat up, then when i moved it back it would turn on. there is a connection somewhere under the seat that could get moved around. play around with those wires and move your seat up and down all the way, see if that doesnt resolve anything... might seem like an odd solution but it worked for me.

Yep, I too was chasing this problem. Dealer used the Starscan and said it was the seat belt causing the issue and had it replaced. It didn't resolve the issue. It would still come on and would go off it I raised the seat all the way. I finally figured out that if I play with the wires just under the seat, the light goes out. No more problems!
