All I have to say about the Cayenne is that the interiors are beautiful... But for that price tag, it should.
I take my jeep over the Cayenne Turbo S any day... ;)
I can't wait to race one at the track thou.

I had a guy pull up in a 2008 P Turbo S that was modified. I was at a local car show with my hood open talkin to a SRT4 neon guy and he pulled up wanting to race thinking I had a SRT8 jeep from a distance. We never raced but would have been a good run if we had. We talked for awhile and he was a real cool guy, showed me allot of the cool gadgets in the Porche. Mainly the wicked suspension that goes up and down depending on what mode you are in.

Great article...for the money you can't beat the SRT8, but that Turbo S is a sweet ride to. Like Scott said, if you get a chance you have to drive or ride in a Turbo S, they are amazing. Funny thing I have never been in or driven a SRT8 :(
The craziest #'s in this article to me are the braking figures...for $20-30K brakes in the prosche, you can see the performance difference!

I see a SRT maybe once a month.. maybe.
I see the Cayenne Turbo everyday.. my neighbor has (check this) a Turbo, a Turbo S and a GTS Cayenne (yes it's N/A)... obsessed much?>

Yeah a mate of mine has a Cayenne Turbo S (one of I think 7 imported to Australia), and I can tell you, if money was no object (well over 200k here), I'd have that over an SRT any day....... but unfortunately, money is somewhat of an object :)

I love the Cayenne interior. But I lie being the underdog SRT.

IMO, Cayenne interior isn't that special, not special like a Range Rover (the real Range Rover, not the Sport).

I guess those bling rims and stillen headlight covers slowed the WK down.

A Cayenne Turbo will always run down an SRT in the top end..... and really, the SRT is only quicker off the line because the Cayenne can't build boost while stationary.

Some of the comments are great! like this one.
Quoted from the comments section.
original statement quoted:
"As for the Jeep is the best MUSCLE VEHICLE that won't smoke the tires or make a whole lot of noise to get the job done. I think with those numbers the Jeep will spank the Challenger SRT, Camaro SS & Mustang GT 0-60."
"Uh, have you ever been next to, or behind one of these Jeep SRTs on a full throttle launch? Between those exhaust pipes and the 6.1L engine breathing fire, it could just about wake the dead."
LOL

Thats ok. I understand, It does not take much to confuse me. LOL
here is another one. What and Idiot.

So, I could buy three SRT8's to one Cayenne. I know. That's not the point. A Jeep can never be a Porsche. It could be a regular man's Porsche, though. I'd like to have seen how the Trailblazer SS and Cherokee SRT8 stacked up against eachother.

the SS could never touch the SRT.

Buy the SRT, throw a couple thousand at it for suspension, brakes and some engine mods, still save thousands and it'll kick the Porshe's ass!

I second that , next year project for me ..:D
Well here are my favorites comments .
*Uh, have you ever been next to, or behind one of these Jeep SRTs on a full throttle launch? Between those exhaust pipes and the 6.1L engine breathing fire, it could just about wake the dead.*
*Acceleration Comments: An unreal launch that fels like a freeway rear-ender! Zero slop of delay as I let off the brake. Upshifts are very quick yet not particularly harsh. The size of the Jeep and how quickly it accelerates felt at odds. It shouldn't do this, but it does.*

I agree. And not no 24" heavy @ss chrome wheels. They look nice just aren't good for racing.
