Well I admit it, I am a detail-aholic.
I have a passion for keeping my vehicles clean. I wash in the rain, pull my wheels to clean the under carriage and wash the backs of the wheels, spend countless hours just to get it dirty again. Yea I can't help it lol.
Here is a few pics of todays detail. These are just of the under carriage. I run out of time and have to finish the detail tomorrow.
I started out by pulling the wheels and using mean green to spray everything down with, then sprayed off with a pressure washer.
After that I washed the Jeep from top to bottom using the 2 bucket method and a gritt guard, and dried the Jeep with a leaf blower and blotted with a thick micro fiber towel.
I will post the finished product tomorrow after I get the Jeep clayed, cleaned, polished and sealed.
Here is the under carriage...

Make sure, you drop that spare tire down and clean it, If you have salty roads it kills the spares. My spare is all peeling where the wheel weights were.

I am pretty much a Meguiars man.
Wash: Meguiars Shampoo plus
Clay: Meguiars Smooth surface clay
Swirl Remover: Meguiars Swirl X
Polish: Meguiars #7 Showcar Glaze
Sealer: Meguiars #26 Hitech Yellow Wax
Tires Cleaner: Mean Green Spray
Tires Shine: Meguiars Hyper Dressing
Trim: Meguiars Hyper Dressing
Engine: Meguiars Hyper Dressing
Under Carriage: Mean Green to clean and Hyper Dressing to dress
Glass: Stoners Glass Cleaner
On tough swirls I do use a DA polisher, but I mostly do everything by hand with micro fiber towels.

Good tip! I usually do drop mine down to clean it. Salt and mud from coal trucks here where I live is murder on under carriages.

nice work bro!!! when you use swirlx what pad do you use with the DA?
your wheel wells are nice and clean!!! good job!!!
i am also a meguiars dude!!! you should try their UQD for touch-ups in-between washes and try their UQW after drying the car!
also if you want to try out either nxt2.0 or #21 as your sealant and throw #26 on after that:)

sealant or nxt needs to cure overnight before another coat

you can apply 2 coats of nxt without having to wait overnight:)

yeah....just stating my personal preference. The NXT 2.0 always streaked on my Inferno red...so I would let it dry overnight and then QD and od another coat.

yeah lot of people have issues with nxt streaking... usually it is caused by too much product... you can let it cure for a few hours(2-3) ten apply another thin coat... im trying #21 next(your suggestion;)

the #21 is one of my favorite products right now. Its lasted a good 3-4 months on both our vehicles.

Looks awesome, I'm gonna get underneath the Jeep next year and clean (and paint where required) all the stuff under there.
I like how the calipers on the WKs have a little Jeep badge on the too, wish mine had that! :D
Great choice of products too, you can't beat Meguiar's Detailing range for value for money! Shampoo+, Last Touch, APC, Super Degreaser and Hyper Dressing are all superb.
