I finally found the right size exhaust tip and am hoping to get it installed later this afternoon. I'll be glad to get rid of the stainless steel tip and move to the dark side. ;)

I'll post more pics once installed.

Here's a quick pic of the new exhaust tip.. My phone died so this is all I have for now.

It's only a slight change, but I was so sick of the stainless steel look + I changed up the positioning a bit.

Thanks Irf. It doesn't sound any different, but looks a whole hell of a lot better IMO.

To me the stainless steel stuck out like an eye sore on my set up. This was a mod I've been thinking about for a long time. I like the new positioning a lot better too, the old one kind of stuck out too far for my taste.

That looks tiny. I had to scroll up again, and yup it kinda looks like a stock 4 cylinder Honda exhaust tip painted black to me. Am I way off on this one? How big is it, the diameter?

I like the color Chris...but it does look a little smallish...My guess would be between 2 and 2.5"....2.25" may be?

Did you buy it black, or painted it black?

I got it small on purpose Hannes. I didn't like how my old one stuck out. I wanted something nice and subtle. But I think it's 2.5"

It came black but had a few scratches on it, so I went over it with a few coats of high heat to cover them up.

I think thats what it is then, to me it looks like its painted in the black grill paint they sell at Homedepot. That by the way I just did my charcoal grill with in my back yard.
I dunno, I really really hate to sound like a dick, but I dont like that what so ever. Here I am wanting to get dual 5" SS or chrome tips for mine because I hate how my litte 3.5" tip looks.

To each there own my man. I personally think it looks 100x better than the stainless steel tip I had on previously. I hate anything chrome or stainless steel, but I appreciate your input.

Ohhh...makes sense Chris...and if you like it....thats all that really matters....I do like how its a lot more subtle....it really goes sooooo well together with your light khaki and black theme....

I recently painted the inside of my tips black...but left the outside chrome...they are kinda hidden anyways....lol...

Thx bud. I'm happy to report that there was no melting after a 500 mile trip this past weekend.

Looks great with the black wheels and you'll never need to clean it out! :D

Thanks dude.. That's the best part, no more polishing like I had to do w/ the stainless.

That looks clean, I tucked mine under the bumper too...I am sure that stainless stuck out too!! Almost murdered??

I'm just about as murdered out as a light khaki Jeep can get lol. I do however have one or two more tricks up my sleeve to get to the level of "Darrrrrknessssss" haha

Thanks man.. You are correct no melting as of yet thankfully.. It's tucked under there almost perfectly.

Nice, I like it.

Let me get those wheels though.. haha

HAHA NEVVVVERRRRR!!! I'm going to be buried with those wheels!! LOL

Chris, ever thought about a black grill with blacked out headlights?........

I have actually.. I'm getting my headlights tinted on Monday or Tuesday.

I've toyed around w/ the idea of a black grill, but I will most likely keep it body color for a cleaner look.
