2 din help!!!

so i just got done installing my new jvc double din no knowing i had to run my own freakin acc wire. oh well, now i have no sound. the radio turns on and functions exactly the way it should but nothing comes out the speakers... i dont know what is wrong. the wires are all color coordinated so i know i hooked them up right. please help!!

you might need an interface module to signal the factory amp(if you have one) to turn on...

I know I had a problem because I bought an interface for an 05 which my Jeep is but it was built in late so I needed an 06 interface...was pretty easy luckily I only had to unplug the box on the harness and put the new one on...

Great, glad you got it working. I went with the PAC CHY harness thing so I wouldnt have to deal with issues. But I do know buying a $1.99 regular harness off ebay will work also, just wont have the radio stay on for 5 min after the car is shut off. Oh, and with this harness I realized my head unit doesnt dim when I turn the headlights on, odd but doesnt bother me.
