So I have been wanting to get rims for every car I have owned...and my Jeep is no different. I want to get the Viper reps, but I am also thinking there are other wheels out there that will look go too! This thread is for wheels that would look good on a WHITE WK! Either ltd or laredo, but WHITE JGC! Please post any wheels you think would look good. Here are my top 8 besides the Viper reps and SRT8 reps...

OK so the orig. pic was the same ones as the 4 sale on the red site...got it. Yeah I love those dalars, they look SO MONEY ON YOUR RIDE...but the Gios are so expensive, prolly used would be the way to go. I like 24's, but I really don't know if i am going to go bigger than 22's, and will prolly get 20's. I like having a good amount of tire/sidewall...but its tough b/c the 22's and 24's look so damn good with certain applications!!!

you guys really need to check the offset of some of these wheels. The Iroc's for instance are +10. The wk, wj need atleast a +30-35 and up. +10 would stick way out past the fenders....

Thanks Scott...this thread is mainly to find the style and look I want...once I figure out if I want a lip/not, machined chrome alloy black black chrome two piece 20s or 22s 5 spoke 10 spoke 12 spoke...$hit there are too many choices. Although they are great choices to have to make!!!!

yeah...but why show them and then find out they dont work. I talked to the manufacturer about the Iorc's and they dont have enough material to have them customed drilled etc. You guys should just post wheels that work for the offset and lug pattern.....JMO

I am looking for the same thing. I have 18x9's that I run in the summer. I still like them because I tend to hit curbs and mild off road. 275 55 seem to keep the rim safe...

I'm probably not going to be much help but I'll put my 2 cents in...

I really don't like blingy or flashy, after-market rims. I much prefer rims that at least could have possibly been factory supplied. That being said, I do like the last photo. The ones you say are your current faves. They look Volkswagen-Audi-ish, and should give a superior or sophisticated look to your truck.

I would say 5 spoke just because of even spoked number rim does not distribute the weight evenly and causes overload on one side of the rim then the other ... I am not saying its a fact but it's what a lot i mean a lot of tuners have told me ... that's why me says 5 spoke plus on a big car like ours you don't want something with too many spokes takes the bad assness away lol

I just can't justify spending the $$$ on the rims when I prolly have 20K+ miles left on my stock tires (just hit 9K miles)...I think I am going to post my stock tires and see if they sell...then I won't feel so bad dropping $2K on wheels and tires

POS Fortera's from the factory! That is another reason to switch...the ride will be some much better with some wider rims and some sweet on-road performance SUV tires!!! I remember my Dakota was so much more stable at freeway swpeeds when I put 20X9.5's and some sweet Nitto's (upgraded from the stick 16X7.5 or 8 I can't remember) either way it was a huge improvement

Lip I am like you...I think I def want a lip but like you said it makes em look a little smaller. My big decision is 20's vs 22's! I like the look of 22's better by far...BUT I really like having more tire/sidewall for the ride! Prolly non-staggered, w/ lip 20's with some meaty street/performance tires!!

I'm thinking 22" with at least the sidewall of the SRT tire, Not sure if lip or not. prob lip with black wall/well and chrome spoke. Not sure if staggered or not. Prob will stag them.... I like the SRT,X5 with the stag wheels look.

It is def a nice look with the stagg...do you know the max sizes of tires we can put on our rides if we go 22's? I don't want any rubbing issues...HAHA that sounds like a personal problem huh?

it's about weight distribution

even number spoked rims do not distribute the weight right and therefore can have an imbalance ... odd number spoked rims have a better balance overall and therefore you're good to go ... and if you notice most of the rims sold are always odd number spoked ... they make even ones but not really advised, something my tuner friends taught me

well I found the srt8 black reps on ebay for 900 and firestone is having a good sale going on right now buy 3 tires and get one free and if you negotiate with the store manager i bet you can get some better discount also ...

I dont think you do unless you plan on adding big horsepower. just paint the calipers up nice and pretty.....plus the brembos cost about $2000-2.5K if you piece the package together from used parts.

No, I tried to sell them before I powdercoated them so I could just buy black wheels, now that they are black their no longer for sale, it was a pricey conversion to black, but I'll have the pics by tomorrow afternoon.

Yes, the mirror backs are putco, but have since been painted silver. The chrome had to be sandblasted off which was about $40 per wheel, the powdercoating was $80 per wheel. The wheels also came with shitty plastic center caps that I didnt like and couldnt be powdercoated anyways so I had a waterjet guy cut me 4 flat custom center caps at $10 a piece. IDK Brad. The more I see aftermarket wheels on cars the more I'm liking the flow of 5spoke. I don't know if anything is compromised by it but I like the look of wheels with a flat wall all the way through. I'm not a big fan of the rivit/bolted look.

I would love some 5 spoked aftermarked rims.......but there are no 5 spoked aftermarket rims for us that really looks good on the truck. They can look awsome and all that.....until you PS them on your truck, then it's all uggly stick all over the place tbh imo. The only ones that fit and looks sweet are the SRT reps. No offense to you guys whom have 5 spoked aftermarkets :lol: :D

I really like the Dakars on my ride too...it gives me the 5-spoke, majority is black and has a little chrome to tie them to the vehicle...thanks again Chris (I have given too much rep in the last 24 hours haha so once it resets today I will juice you up)

I can't go 22 because of all pot holes and bad roads down here.

The rivets/bolts thing all depends on what kind of look you're after. If you want a race kind of look then don't go for rims with rivets. But if you want something more flare like "blingey bling bling......WK with class" kind of look....then it'll look cool.
Though it all depends on the rims per se.

Just go with your heart man....no matter what anyone say :D
