Loctite Red Tape vs 3M?

Hello Guys

I am looking to remount my Garmin GPS to the top of my dash and the original sticky pad has worn off. I found the red sticky tape that I know will work, but it is made by Loctite and not 3M. Is there any difference between the two? They both seem to be a temperature/water resistant tape.

Thanks, all you typically hear about here is 3m.
