I'm not shocked, it was only a matter of time. Dealers are still trying to sell the 07-08 SRT8 for new. As much as I like the SRT, it really isn't made for a normal family. It cost 45K, it cost a lot to keep up, and the gas mileage sucks on it. There are bigger SUVs that a family could get for 45K. IMO

Well, that means that the value of SRTs will go up and whoever got one, should keep it forever. It will worth a fortune in 5 years or so..

good point. maybe, just maybe I might e looking into trading in my 4.7 for a 6.1, but gas does play a big role in my decision because I travel an 1hr 10 mins to work just one way and 1hr 10mins to get back home so a 4.7 is ideal for me.

i really want to get a srt8... i was really thinking of trading in my truck but now my commute to work is also going to be 1 hour and 15 mins each way so there is no way i can do that:(

I haven't heard anything about the SRT-8 being dropped. The only dead SRT that I know of is the Caliber SRT-4.

Sounds like you guys with SRT8 clones will get alot of money for them if you ever sell, after all with the SRT coming with a 5.7 who will know its not a true SRT. LOL

You dont buy a 6.1L Jeep for practicality, lol. I want one so bad but if im getting 11mpg in my 4.7 (all city, short distances) the SRT8 ON PREMIUM will put a hurting on my wallet, not to mention the payments!
