honestly chris im gonna say no. i think it would be overkill... i think thats a good spot if you don't have stock fog lights and are looking for fogs

I hear ya.. They are going to be small and hidden though, plus blacked out so you won't be really even able to see them during the day.

I think I'm going to want some extra lighting once the headlight film goes on.

Sounds like a good reason Chris. Actually, I say go for it!

I prob will.. I'll have my buddy pick a set up for me next week from work and play around with them.. If they look like crap then I'll return them.

I'm going to try and find one of those small rectangular shaped fogs and see how they look/work.

Imagine I put one of those HELLA or PIAA fogs on my push bar. Overkill?

Yeah I'd say go for it and black them out. What made you decide to get them? A little more light or for Looks?

More so for a little extra light.

I'm in the process of smoking my headlights and fogs and want to make up for the loss of light that I will be losing.

I'm hoping to find a small set so they are discreet and barely noticeable until turned on.

Do it, it will look nice in my opinion. Plus like you said, added light. Hell I had 6 lights on my old wrangler. KC daylighters 140w pencil beams:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I think I'm def going to. My buddy that works at Napa can just grab me a set to see how they look, and if they come out looking like crap I'll just send em back.

I like the idea of having another set of lights up front just in case I need them someday.

Dude if you could find long range pencil beams that would fit in there that would be reeeally sick. I don't know if they come in that small of a size though. On a foggy night you would just see two long beams comin from below your truck for a 1/4 mile.

If they are going to be blacked out, they might not put out that much extra lighting...But I think they look good there..

They would look great on the push bar.....a nice set of long distance driving lights, not fog lights....

Yeah I think so too. The film I use only blocks out about 10% of light output, so I'm thinking that I should be gravy with HID Lows/Fogs, and then a set of extra lights even if blacked out a bit..

I'll post a bunch of pics once I decide on a set and get them mounted.

I don't have any pics of them on my jeep, but here's a link to where i bought them from. They def will not fit unless you have a some kind of aftermarket grille. They had like a 1.5 mile range. The ones i had were a little more, but were 130 watt. I still have them on a light bar, if anyone owns a wrangler. Otherwise, I'm gonna hang them upside down under my deck, and aim them out towards the lake behind our house. Just to fawk with the teenagers that go down there to bang out and toke up at night.:D
